Children's Medical Group (of Hattiesburg) was founded by Dr. Gaudet in 1998. Dr. Gaudet and his staff have the same unified goal to provide the highest quality, most up-to-date medical care possible while stressing prevention, maintaining a friendly environment, and using every opportunity to educate and inform patients and their family members. The CMG Team


The staff at CMG is comprised of health care professionals with years of medical experience in the Hattiesburg area. Their goal is to provide patients with the best medical care possible, including to create a total positive environment to help with questions or concerns, schedule appointments and even address patient account matters.

CMG's staff emphasizes preventative care and health maintenance. They believe informing and educating families about their child's health concerns helps to facilitate these goals. They provide a cheerful, nurturing, friendly environment, they are available each visit, and a number of child health resources can be found at CMG, so that family members can gain as much information about their child's health to make each patient's visit to the doctor as pleasant as possible.

CMG's qualified staff includes: Privileges at both Forrest General Hospital and Wesley Medical Center.

CMG (of Hattiesburg & Columbia)

Children's Medical Group specializes in pediatric care. Primary care is provided for patients from birth through twenty-one years of age. New patients are welcomed from birth to adolescence, and expectant mothers are encouraged to schedule prenatal visits.

Children's Medical Group accepts most insurance and will be happy to file most forms of insurance for our patients. CMG enjoys privileges at both Forrest General Hospital and Wesley medical Center.

Now in Columbia
To better serve our patients in Marion County and the surrounding areas, The Children's Medical Group is pleased to announce the opening of our new clinic in Columbia. This office will temporarily be opening on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays only, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Hattiesburg Eye Clinic's Columbia Center located at 1010 Highway 13 North (near the Piggly Wiggly). Call 444--0040 for an appointment.

Ms. Pate will see patients regularly at the Columbia location and both CMG physicians will keep limited office hours in Columbia. We will have a permanent location and more convenient hours soon.
