Mary Ann Pate, CFNP

Mary Ann Pate, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (CFNP), joins the CMG staff to contribute to providing the excellent medical care that CMG patients have come to expect. Ms. Pate is a native of Bayou La Batre, Alabama. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mobile with first a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then a master's degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked at the University of South Alabama Department of Family Practice to help train new doctors in children's and women's health care. She has also previously worked in Labor and Delivery for five years at a Level 3 Medical Center. Ms. Pate was originally a teacher. She taught in the Alabama school system after receiving her Bachelor Degree in Education. She is the mother of two sons and one daughter, and enjoys reading, sports and collecting bears.
